High-Rise Window Cleaning Services

With their walls of sparkling glass windows, skyscrapers give the skyline an elegant look — but those windows don't stay sparkling on their own. Rain, snow, smog, salt spray, dust, debris, bird droppings and more conspire to obscure a skyscraper's windows. Fortunately, window cleaners are on the job to get them pristine and shiny once more.

Our high-rise window cleaning services are designed for buildings seven stories and up. We use the latest equipment and adhere to the highest safety standards to ensure the safety of our team, your building, and its occupants.

We are committed to providing exceptional service and customer satisfaction and work with a wide range of businesses in Las Vegas, including medical facilities, office buildings, casinos, hotels, condominiums, and more.

Red Rock Property Services' commercial high-rise window cleaning division uses the finest equipment the industry has to offer, and we continuously invest in training and implementation of the latest safety standards. Our technicians are experienced and perform all work in a safe, efficient systemized approach.

We understand that maintaining the appearance of your high-rise building is crucial for your business's reputation. Our team has the expertise and equipment to safely and effectively clean your high-rise windows, whether your building is 10 stories or 100. We use rope access, powered platforms, aerial lifts, ladders, and water-fed poles to safely clean high-rise windows.

Our commercial window cleaners are trained and experienced in Rope Access Practical Rigging Safety, Fall Protection, and follow the ANSI/IWCA 1-14.1 OSHA safety standard for the window cleaning industry. We take great pride in our attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction. We use only the highest quality cleaning products and equipment to ensure that your windows are cleaned safely and effectively.

The answer to this question depends on a few different factors. The type of businesses in the building, the environment around the building, how much foot traffic the building receives, and whether people are allowed to smoke inside the building all contribute to the condition of a skyscraper's windows.

If a building is a clean, nonsmoking office environment and stands on a clean side street, it likely needs its windows cleaned less frequently. If the building is home to industrial work or a medical facility, sees a lot of foot traffic, is located on a busy street or near a substantial body of water, or must contend with smog or frequent avian visitors, the windows will need attention more often.

When it comes to high-rise window cleaning, the general guideline is to have your windows cleaned twice a year. However, some property managers opt to have their high-rise windows cleaned as often as once a month.

Dirty high-rise windows may not be as noticeable to passersby, but they are noticeable when looking out from within the building’s interior spaces. You’re paying for a beautiful view, and you want to be able to take advantage of it, especially if you have clients coming by often.

Dangling hundreds of feet in the air is not for the faint of heart, but for any reputable high-rise window-cleaning company, safety is the primary concern. High-rise window cleaning is generally safe when workers use the right equipment and take proper precautions to protect themselves.

It is critically important to have — and use — all the latest innovations in safety equipment and procedures. Our professional window cleaners are highly trained and equipped and adhere to all OSHA safety standards for the window cleaning industry.

Rope Access Training

Training and qualifications required to get started in rope access can seem daunting—and with good reason.

Work on ropes is inherently dangerous. For that reason, rope access safety requirements and training to satisfy them are highly emphasized throughout the industry.

There are many different types of equipment used in rope access work. Much of this equipment is explicitly designed to help satisfy rope access safety requirements and keep inspectors safe while working. Rope Descent Systems (RDS) and Industrial Rope Access (IRA) are two techniques used in high-rise window cleaning.

Red Rock Property Services is one of the few companies in the Las Vegas valley that operates under Industrial Rope Access standards, meaning we have more safety equipment, go through more training, and have complete horizontal and vertical mobility allowing us to safely service your high-rise window cleaning needs.

To ensure the continued safety of all workers on site, window cleaning crew members must have several critical safety certifications and meet specific training requirements before work can safely begin:

IWCA Certification

The IWCA Safety Certification Program is made up of five essential training focuses that keep window washers safe: Route/Residential, Commercial Ground, Rope Descent Systems, Suspended Scaffold, and High Rise Specialist. In order to receive this certification, window cleaners must complete all IWCA required courses, during which they learn about the safe use of basic window cleaning equipment and chemicals, as well as the safe completion of more complicated and hazardous high-rise cleaning services. This comes together to ensure the safety of workers, occupants, and street-level passersby when window-washing high-rise buildings.

OSHA 1910 Training

For any team member whose job requires working in an area where there is a higher risk of falls, the employer is required to provide proper professional training and safety certification for each employee before any work commences. Certifications include the use of equipment, proper inspection and maintenance of equipment, utilization of PPE and safety equipment, hazard identification and mitigation, and proper safety reporting protocols. All high-rise window washers must have this training and certification(s).

SPRAT Certification

The Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians (SPRAT) are internationally recognized standards for rope-related work and safety protocols. Certification is attained by completing a 4-day course and passing a written test and a hands-on test. The grading parameters for both tests constitute a simple pass or fail. Failure to pass the building window washer tests means results in no certification being issued, and the window washer must retake the course.

Red Rock Property Services Window Washers hold all of these certifications.

I have used several window cleaning companies in the past, but Red Rock Window Cleaning is by far the best! They did an excellent job on my windows and Chandelier. I would definitely refer them to my family and friends.
